Within Business Studies, students will learn about the interrelated nature of Business using business models, theories and techniques to support the analysis of contemporary business issues and situations.
Students will learn about how businesses are set up, the way in which they grow and the strategies they use to remain competitive in a fast changing environment. This includes the significance of leaving the European Union, the impact of new competition and dealing with technological and sociological change.

KS4
Students will attend 4 or 5 lessons per fortnight.
Board and Specification
Assessment Components: two exams during May and June of Y11
| Paper 1: Operations and human resource management (written exam) | (50%) |
| Paper 2: Marketing and finance (written exam) | (50%) |
Both papers contain multiple choice, short answer questions and case studies with more detailed questions.
