Outcomes - Great Results

The Minster School Sixth Form has a long tradition of achieving great results in examinations, the combination of hard work by students, support at home and excellent teaching in school.

We are so proud of our students and the grades they achieved every year and this year is no exception. These grades were achieved through hard work during their time in school and are an excellent set of outcomes.

Published A Level Results (2025) 

  • Average grade achieved of B per A Level taken.

  • 26.9% of grades were an A* or A grade.

  • 56.2% of grades were A* - B grades.

Published A Level Results (2024) 

  • Average grade achieved of B- per A Level taken.

  • 23% of grades were an A* or A grade.

  • 81% of grades were A* - C grades.

Published A Level Results (2023) 

  • Average grade achieved of C+ per A Level taken.

  • 25% of grades were an A* or A grade.

  • 74% of grades were A* - C grades.

  • There are no published progress measures due to the pandemic.

  • Average grade achieved of B= per A Level taken.
  • 40% of grades were an A* or A grade.
  • 86% of grades were A* - C grades.
  • There are no published progress measures due to the pandemic.

Published A Level results (2021) 

  • Average grade achieved of B per A Level taken.
  • 42% of students achieved AAB or better
  • 42% of A-levels grade A or higher.
  • This year no progress measures were generated, due to the exceptional circumstances in which grades were awarded.
