SIAMS Report for The Minster School: A Celebration of Our Values and Achievements

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to share with you the recently conducted Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) report. This comprehensive evaluation celebrates our school’s achievements in line with our foundation as a Church of England school.

Key Highlights:

  1. Vision and Values: Our school’s vision, rooted in Christian values, emphasises togetherness and the realisation of each individual’s potential.
  2. Culture of Togetherness: We foster a culture where older pupils mentor younger ones, and everyone supports each other’s learning.
  3. Partnerships: Our strong partnerships, especially with the Minster Cathedral, enrich our collective worship and enable positive change.
  4. Religious Education: Exceptionally well-led and taught, religious education contributes significantly to pupils’ personal, social, moral, and spiritual development.

As we move forward, we remain committed to nurturing our students’ holistic growth, ensuring academic success alongside spiritual and personal development. I encourage you to read the full SIAMS report, which provides detailed insights into our school’s strengths and areas for improvement and can be accessed here - and at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for your continued support in our mission to help every child 'succeed together'.

With best wishes,

Ben Chaloner - Head Teacher
