Year 7 In September
In addition to the whole school plans for reopening, year 7 will have a special induction day on Thursday 3rd September.
The return to school this September will be unlike any other. Despite the challenges faced we at The Minster School are very much looking forward to welcoming our new year 7 students, beginning our time "Succeeding Together".
We appreciate it has not been possible for all of the usual transition activities to take place and hope that families and children have had the chance to use our online resources to help. They are still here on this website and are well worth looking into if the opportunity has not yet arisen.
Extensive September guidance has been sent to all families and your time in carefully reviewing the information (including the video) with your child is greatly appreciated and essential for a smooth start in September. This full set of guidance can be accessed using the button below.
For those joining the school for the first time we appreciate this year is even more of a challenge - please take a few minutes to watch the additional year 7 video from Mr Parris to explain some of our plans. In the first instance we have set aside the first day back for students (Thursday 3rd September) for year 7 activities and induction. Most other year groups will not be returning until later.
